ALBAWABA - "Prince Sirin" an Iranian influencer residing in the US took the internet by storm after Iran announced arresting the individual on charges of "Assault on sanctities", according to Mizan Agency.
Prince Sirin was arrested in Karaj, Iran, and sent to prison after announcing that he was present in the country on his official Instagram account. The incident took place at the center of the city located in the northern side of the country.

The influencer in question appeared in two videos where one showed him passing next to the Iranian flag and saying, "This is the flag of the criminal regime", while the other had him tearing up the Holy Quran which belongs to the religion of Islam.

These two videos naturally caused quite a stir across social media and made headlines for their disrespect of the country and tearing the religion of Islam as the Holy Quran is considered sacred among all Muslims across the world.
Another news outlet claimed the following:
"Badiei repeatedly insulted the Holy Qur’an, Islamic sanctities, and other rituals in the virtual space and acted as an actor in pornographic films. He is also accused of sexually assaulting many American teenagers"
Prince Sirin was the son of a senior soldier during the Iran Revolution
According to Iranian media, Sirin Curtis "Badiei" was born in 1979 and is the son of Colonel Jalal Badi who was one of the senior soldiers during the Iran Revolution and the head of the intelligence forces known as "Al-Sawak". His father was executed for committing a crime which led to Sirin immigrating to his mother in America in 2008.
