ALBAWABA - An Indian teenage girl reportedly said that she was subjected to rape over the past 5 years by dozens of men and boys including her relatives, schoolmates and neighbors.
The 13-year-old poor girl said she was allegedly sexually abused by one of her neighbors in the village, CNN reported citing Kerala Police Deputy Inspector General Ajeetha Begum. The sexual abuse allegations were only detailed for the first time when the Indian girl, now 18, spoke to a counselor who was visiting her college in Kerala.
The story detailed that the teenage girl, who was not identified based on the Indian law, was sexually abused and filmed by her neighbor, the police said it opened a probe to discover whether the man blackmailed her into being raped by dozens of other men and boys threatening her by releasing images and videos he has for her.
According to CNN, a total of 58 men and boys were taken by the police and accused of carrying out sexual assault, rape and gang rape of the teenage girl in India.
However, two others fled the country before being arrested by the police in the same case, Kerala Police Deputy Inspector General also added to the American website.
Schoolmates, relatives, neighbors in addition to men from all corners of her life, ranging from minors to men in their mid-40s, are among the accused, local police confirmed.
