ALBAWABA - Former US President Donald Trump has survived an assassination attempt on Saturday night during a rally in Pennsylvania. The shooter was immediately killed by the Secret Service.
The shooting attack at the Trump rally was marked as a failed assassination attempt by American authorities. The FBI announced identifying the shooter as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Pennsylvania.
A person who was at the rally was confirmed killed as two others were critically injured, CNN reported on Saturday night.
A video of a man claiming to be Thomas Matthew Crooks goes viral
A video has circulated on social media where a man appeared saying that he was "Thomas Matthew Crooks," Trump's shooter, left people shocked with many possibilities of its truth.
In the clip, a man who claimed to be "Thomas Matthew Crooks" expressed his hate for Republicans and Donald Trump in particular.
In the video, the person, wearing a blue t-shirt and glasses, said: "My name is Thomas Matthew Crooks. I hate Republicans. I hate Trump." He continued: "And guess what you got the wrong guy."
Many people circulated the video claiming that this video was taken by the shooter "Thomas Matthew Crooks" himself before the Trump failed assassination attempt.
Meanwhile, others claimed that this guy used huge similarities and facial features with the shooter to become famous so he took the video on purpose. However, till now there is no confirmed official news about the video.
