ALBAWABA - A new shocking video recently flooded social media, capturing the moment a pit bull dog attacked and bit a child near the New York City Union Square.
Pedestrians passing by intervened when they heard the child's mother screaming for help. Several people rushed to the scene and successfully separated the dog from the child. The video captured the dog biting into the child's body with no sign of letting go.
The woman was screaming, "Call the police!" as the child was heard crying. The condition of the child remains unknown. However, the man who captured the video said, "There's a hole in that boy's leg." Both the man who captured the video and others alongside him also urged the dog's owner to stay when they noticed him leaving the scene.

The video received a wide variety of reactions on social media, with many users blaming the dog's owner for their carelessness and walking a pit bull in a crowded area like the New York City Union Square.
A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "The owner of that Pitbull should not be allowed to leave just like that, that act should be punishable under the law."
Another added, "My heart breaks that child and his parents. Pit bulls should be required to be muzzled in public. You never know when they will attack, once they do, it’s just about impossible to get them off without injury."
Someone said while sharing the graphic video, "Who brings a pit bull into a crowded place?" and "Who brings a pit bull into a crowded place, when he can't control it?"
