ALBAWABA - A video has captured a horrific moment where a man in Iraq holding a Kalashnikov rifle opened fire on two people sitting in the street leading to the death of one.
Local media reported that the crime shook the Iraqi community after a man killed 8 people, 5 of them were members of his family. The shooting attack took place in the Al-Ankour region, east of Anbar Governorate.
A clip documented the moment when an armed man shot two men, who were sitting on the sidewalk, killing one of them, while the other apparently fled the place.
The video also showed the person carrying a Kalashnikov rifle entering a grocery store and randomly shooting four shoppers, two of whom fell to the ground, without knowing his motives.
An Iraqi security source revealed that a person shot his family members and a number of people using a Kalashnikov. The victims were the attacker's wife (who is also his cousin), her parents, her two sisters, the owner of a market near the house, and two passersby."
It is worth mentioning that the cause of the problem was because his wife's family took her to her family house since the shooter was addicted to drugs and alcohol.
The security source added that the attacker was arrested by the security forces.
