ALBAWABA - The Guardian reported that it saw a video of a gang rape of an Afghan female activist inside one of the detentions of the Taliban government.

According to the British newspaper, armed men were seen in a clip gang-raping and torturing an Afghan woman and threatening her to share the video on social media.

The video shows the activist being told by force to remove her clothes and then she was raped by two men, the clip was viewed by the Guardian and Rukhshana Media. It was reported that the video was sent to the victim and she was warned not to criticize the Taliban government in public, otherwise, the footage would be published.

Sexual assaults against Afghan women in jails in Afghanistan have been widely reported, however, The Guardian added this is considered the first evidence for the sexual violence accusations.

In detail, the Afghan woman was arrested after she participated in a protest against the Taliban government and was gang raped in a Taliban prison.

However, the suffering didn't stop there, despite that she fled the country, she was again threatened after she spoke out against the Taliban in exile.

In the footage, one of the armed men told the activist: "You’ve been Fu**** by Americans all these years and now it’s our turn," The Guardian reported Wednesday.
