ALBAWABA - Israel launched one of its most intensive airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Thursday, with alleged reports that Hezbollah's secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah was moved to a safe, secret place.
A social media post claimed that Nasrallah, the head of the Iranian-backed militia, had taken a special, secret helicopter earlier on Thursday and was moved to a safe place.
The source also allegedly revealed that the helicopter transferred Hezbollah's secretary-general about an hour before the start of the latest Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon which were described as one of the heaviest.
The X page called "American Incidents", posted a photo of Hassan Nasrallah along with the allegation and claimed it was reported by CNN. However, by going through CNN news about Lebanon, the American website didn't mention anything about the allegation.
No official source also came out to speak about the alleged rumor made on social media which gives a hint it was only made for extra online engagements, likes and reposts and is only fake news.
Following Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, Hezbollah has also launched rockets towards Israeli-occupied territories. Yesterday, Hezbollah announced the death of a prominent commander in the organization named Muhammad Nimah Nasser, also known as “Hajj Abu Naameh”, in an Israeli attack.
