ALBAWABA - After the controversy that surrounded the Olympics 2024 opening ceremony in Paris which reportedly depicted "The Last Supper," the closing ceremony also ignited "satanic speculations."
The Golden Voyager was the main talk of the people on social media with many allegedly claiming that it represents "Lucifer" and the story of the demon being kicked out of heaven.
In the Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony, a video showing the Golden Voyager greeting the Winged Victory of Samothrace in front of the world’s eyes was shared with many sparking theories about its meaning.
A person took to Musk's platform and said: "Many viewers are already claiming this appears to be occult or ‘satanic’ imagery."
Another X user added: "The Olympics Closing Ceremony features a headless, and armless Angel with what appears to be an effigy of Lucifer (The Golden Voyager) standing in gold. Certainly a fitting close to the MOST demonic & satanic Olympics in history."
Nonetheless, Lanette, an account on X, wrote that after the Golden Voyager descended into the stadium, a song "Hymn to Apollo" reportedly played at the closing ceremony of the Olympics. "I won’t even post the lyrics. They are so demonic," she commented.
Furthermore, an account named HereComesTrouble said that the Golden Voyager depicts the rebirth of Lucifer, the ‘light-bringer’ of enlightenment. It continued: "The show started with ‘The Golden Voyager,' descending from the sky, like Lucifer’s fall from heaven, leg bent and positioned like the Hanged Mans, who, in the occult, represents the ultimate surrender."
French President Emmanuel Macron took to his social media to celebrate the success of the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony. He wrote: "Mission impossible. We the French."
In another post, the French president thanked all the people who worked to make the Paris Games unique. Macron said: "THANK YOU to all those who worked to make these Paris Games unique, so French and so universal. The big dream continues with the Paralympic Games!"
