ALBAWABA - Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir joined a rally on Sunday calling for turning the Gaza Strip into an Israeli settlements area.
Ben-Gvir marched with pro-settlement Israelis towards Gaza under the slogan "After 21 years, we're returning home". The protest took place near Kibbutz Zikim - Israel's border with Gaza - on July 19.
This march comes in reference to the withdrawal of around 8,500 Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip back in 2005.
A video was posted on the right-wing Israeli minister's social media where he joined a march calling for Israeli plans to establish Jewish settlements throughout the entire strip, chanting the slogan "Gaza is ours".
This comes amid ongoing violence between Israel and Hamas, despite the U.S.-brokered peace deal that was aimed at ending the war.
