ALBAWABA - Former Hamas hostage Noa Argamani is the talk of social media after throwing a party with her friends on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, in celebration of her "return to life," according to the Time of Israel.

According to a video on Channel 12, Argamani addressed all the attendants and said, "It’s not ideal that we’re having this party while there’s still a war in the background," referring to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, that resulted in the killing of 40,435 Palestinians and the injuring of 93,534.

She added, while our soldiers are on the battlefield, there are still 109 hostages there in Gaza, including my partner, Avinatan Or, who we miss terribly."

Videos of the party swarmed social media on the same day where she said that she was happy to celebrate "life itself" with everyone there since she's not in this world forever.

The party was titled "Dance with Noa" including attendees like her friends and her father Yaakov.

Noa Argamani was among the 251 Israeli hostages taken by Hamas while attending the Supernova music festival on Oct. 7, 2023, but was taken back alongside three other hostages, nine months after their kidnapping.

One user on X (formerly known as Twitter) wrote, "The capturing of civilian hostages is a war crime and a condemnable act, by ANY side. But here is the difference between Palestinian hostages after their release; tortured, broken & disabled, compared to Israeli hostages (e.g. Noa Argamani) now partying and raving like it 1999."

Moreover, next to the video in question, he showcased another video of the devastating aftermath Palestinian hostages face after being kidnapped by the Israeli army.
