A Russian health expert warned that a solar storm could incite an exacerbation of chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure and coronary heart disease, noting that if no immediate medical assistance was there it could become fatal for such people.

Since the announcement of the solar storm by Astronomy Center which was listed to send the strongest magnetic storm to Earth in 21 years, many took to social media to fear the formation of fire tornados.
A social media user posted a video of an old fire tornado and wrote: "Is the world about to end? fire tornados are possible after solar storms."
According to scientists, a fire whirl or fire devil (sometimes referred to as a fire tornado) is a whirlwind induced by a fire and often composed of flame or ash. These start with a whirl of wind, often made visible by smoke, and may occur when intense rising heat and turbulent wind conditions combine to form whirling eddies of air. These eddies can contract a tornado-like vortex that sucks in debris and combustible gases.
However, it is not caused by solar storms, many added online refuting rumors spreading around amid with the solar storm.
The fire tornado phenomenon was first verified in the 2003 Canberra bushfires and has since been verified in the 2018 Carr Fire in California and 2020 Loyalton Fire in California and Nevada.
