ALBAWABA - CEO of Tesla Motors Elon Musk and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos are the talk of social media on X (formerly known as Twitter) after saying that humans should be making more children as they think that the human population is declining.

According to Newser, Bezos' ideal human population is in the trillions while Elon Musk carried his son onstage Saturday at a political festival in Rome to prove his point and urged nations to procreate and bring more children into the world.

Additionally, Musk said that immigration can't solve the issue of the declining population which "threatens economics." He also added, that "the culture of Italy, Japan, and France will disappear" without demographic changes.

Jeff agreed with Musk in an interview on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, and said that a population of 1 trillion would be a decent number for humanity despite this number not fitting Earth comfortably.

According to Market Watch, Bezos had a different idea and solution for the humans not fitting on Earth and stated that many of them can live in "giant, cylindrical space stations."

He added:

"If we had a trillion humans, we would have, at any given time, 1,000 Mozarts and 1,000 Einsteins." He also added that the people living in space colonies can visit Earth as a vacation the "same way that you might go to Yellowstone National Park."

Some users were conflicted with the two billionaire's opinion on the matter as they said the following:

"With AI and robotics making giant strides forward, by the time these kids grow up, there will be a major shortage of jobs. We do not need a larger population, just a smarter and more empathetic one."

"I think they just want the lot of us to be a cheap workforce. They don’t actually want more people; they just want us to take a downgrade."
