ALBAWABA - A picture circulating social media platforms of Billionaire and X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk and commentator Ben Shapiro took the internet by storm after showing them visiting an Auschwitz concentration camp.

The picture caused controversy as many users took to Jackson Hinkle's post to comment on the picture as they judged the two figures for taking Israel's side in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of more than 25,000 Palestinians by now.

Commentator Jackson Hinkle has been the voice of many Americans and social media users for his pro-Palestine views as he shares daily news on the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza and Palestine.

Ben Shapiro made his pro-Israel stance clear in many interviews including the recent debate with Piers Morgan. On the other hand, Elon Musk recently visited Israel during the ongoing massacre of Gazans after being accused of posting "anti-Semitic" comments on his official account steering even more controversy around the individual.

Auschwitz (Known as the Holocaust) was a complex of 40 concentration and extermination camps that were used by Nazi Germany in occupied Poland during World War two. The camp currently resides in Poland and is open as a museum for people internationally.

The camp operated from May 1940 – January 1945.

A brief summary of the Al-Aqsa Flood and Gaza

Palestine

Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel while others were seen paragliding into occupation territory.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, more than 25,105 have been killed by Israeli airstrikes across the besieged strip, more than half of whom are children and women, the Ministry of Health reported. Additionally, 62,681 Gazans have been injured, with injuries varying between mild and severe.
