ALBAWABA - Former US president and current elect Donald Trump is trending across social media after a video of him circulated saying that "Terrorists are poisoning our country" referring to immigrants coming from different countries.

He said, "We are letting terrorists into our country who are coming from mental asylums and prisons, not just from South America, they're coming from Congo, Africa, every part of the world and some of them are from very rough parts of the world."

This was not received positively from users on X (formerly known as Twitter) with many calling Donald Trump "Crazy" and "Unhinged."

Trump also referred to them as criminals and will be deporting them on a massive scale if he gets elected as the USA's next president.

He said that he had no choice and that he didn't want to do that. Moreover, he then took shots at Joe Biden saying, "This man has ruined our country and he's the worst president of all time."

The interview in question was broadcast on Fox News which had Donald Trump with one of the news outlet's journalists who didn't oppose what Trump had to say about the matter. Here's what users had to say:

"Trump says immigrants are poisoning our country. Isn't his wife also an immigrant?"

One user wrote, "Melania is not a violent third world immigrant. Huge difference," which another replied with, "He said "immigrants". He didn't distinguish any particular type."
