ALBAWABA - Speculations emerged online that Elias Rodriguez, the suspect in the shooting attack which killed two Israeli Embassy workers in Washington, is selling Muslim prayer rugs with images of the 9/11 attack and the Afghanistan war.
On Wednesday night, a shooting attack was carried out by Elias Rodriguez, 30, from Chicago, outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. The attack killed the couple, Yaron and Sarah.
The Israeli Embassy in Washington posted on X: "Yaron and Sarah were our friends and colleagues. They were in the prime of their lives."
"The entire embassy staff is heartbroken and devastated by their murder. No words can express the depth of our grief and horror at this devastating loss," it added.

Does Elias Rodriguez sell prayer rugs with images of 9/11 attack on eBay?
A post on social media grabbed the attention of thousands of people, claiming that the Washington attacker's email is linked to an eBay account that sells Muslim prayer rugs with photos of the September 11 attacks in the US.
Eyal Yakoby, X user, posted images of the Msulim prayer rugs that are allegedly linked to Elias Rodriguez, the shooter of the Israeli Embassy workers, and said: "Elias Rodriguez’s email is allegedly associate with this eBay account that sells Muslim prayer rugs with images of the 9/11 terrorist attack."
He added: "Western civilization is under attack by Islamists."
However, no official source has yet confirmed or denied these allegations, which are spreading online regarding links between the email of Elias Rodriguez and the eBay items.
