ALBAWABA - After being identified as 50-year-old doctor Taleb al-Abdulmohsen by German authorities, a new video has surfaced on social media showcasing the Magdeburg Christmas market attack suspect reportedly shouting "Allahu akbar" during his arrest.
On Friday evening, a 50-year-old Saudi-born man who claims to be an anti-Islamist rammed his car into a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany injuring at least 200 locals including a nine-year-old boy, and killing five.
According to the BBC, Abdulmohsen's motive remains unclear, but local authorities are investigating the issue at hand and believe that he carried on with the attack on his own.

In the 50-second clip, Abdulmohsen is seen being arrested by local police as someone shouts Allahu Akbar (God is great in Arabic). The video stirred debate and speculation across social media since it remains unclear if Abdulmohsen or someone else was shouting the phrase.

Taleb al-Abdulmohsen moved to Germany back in 2006 and was recognized as a refugee in 2016, he is known for his anti-Islam comments on social media and Islamophobic views. Moreover, as part of his presence on social media, he claimed that Germany was trying to "Islamicise" Europe as a whole.
