ALBAWABA - With some social media users claiming that Kamala Harris used the Nazi slogan "Strength Through Joy" (Kraft durch Freude in German) during her campaign, news agency Reuters slammed the claims in question as "false."

This comes after pro-Trump took to social media with the claims mentioned above on Aug. 16, 2024, putting Vice President of the US Kamala Harris under controversy across platforms like Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter).

Snopes also slammed any claims that Harris used the far-right Nazi slogan during her campaign and said that neither she nor her associates have not "adopted" it as her campaign slogan.

These claims circulated after Tim Walz was seen pushing the word "Joy" through a series of videos shared on X drawing attention to Nazi Germany's slogan mentioned above from Trump supporters.

On Aug. 16, 2024, Trump supporter Robert Davi took to his official Instagram and shared a video claiming that "strength through joy" was used as a slogan for the Harris campaign. The video was also posted on X and garnered more than 100,000 views.

One user slammed Davi for his claims and said, "MAGA liar steals a Nazi slogan and falsely claims it's a Kamala Harris slogan. The most politically ignorant man on Earth, who just happens to have 195 million followers, credulously accepts the false claim."
