ALBAWABA - Elon Musk, owner of X platform, has decided to hide users' likes clarifying that this decision came to protect people's privacy, however, many allegedly said this step was taken to absorb his "scandal".

Many social media users posted on X claiming that Elon Musk is hiding the like video after a person discovered that the American billionaire had allegedly 'liked' a sexual post.

According to rumors and some pictures posted online, Elon Musk had allegedly reacted to a post that showed a cartoon with the caption "If you look like this DM me ASAP."

A comment reading: "There is no way he has 10 kids and is doing this." Then another comment from the same person: "Nah likes are going private after this."

The x platform started on Wednesday to hide public likes due to privacy matters. Haofei Wang, director of engineering at X, wrote last month in a post: "Soon you'll be able to like without worrying who might see it."

"Public Likes are incentivizing the wrong behavior," Wang maintained.

Furthermore, Musk said that it is "important to allow people to like posts without getting attacked for doing so!".
