ALBAWABA - A video has caused wide anger on social media after a Christian Syrian girl was brutally attacked and reportedly stabbed by a group of people in Lebanon for supporting the current government in Damascus.
A woman, named Maria Sado, was seen in the clip on the street with blood covering her face after being targeted allegedly by pro-Hezbollah members for her support of Syria's Ahmad al-Sharaa government.
In the video, a man holding the camera asked the woman on the ground, "What happened to you?" Her voice was unclear, but another person was heard saying, "I saw her in the car", adding that the men left in a Nissan car.
Then the man was saying Maria Sado and asked her where she was from. She answered Syria, explaining that she was from As-Suqaylabiyah city.
The Christian woman also said that she knows the people who attacked her. The Syrian girl was unable to speak more as her mouth and face were covered with blood.
The man then comforts her by telling her that he called the Lebanese police.
Despite the fact that there is no official statement by the Lebanese authorities, social media activists claimed that the woman was attacked by pro-Hezbollah members allegedly for her support for the current government in Syria.
