ALBAWABA - Canadian comedian Matthew Puzhitsky posted a video claiming he has an idea that will make US President Donald Trump change his mind and reverse the tariffs he imposed on Canada earlier.
Earlier, President Trump imposed a 25 percent tariff on steel and aluminum coming into the country from Canada, sparking fears of igniting a trade war between Washington and Ottawa.
Following Trump's announcement, the Canadain government announced last Thursday a new set of counter-tariffs targeted $29.8 billion worth of American goods. It is worth noting that a week earlier, the federal government in Canada announced its first wave of counter-tariffs — on $30 billion worth of U.S. products.
Canadian comedian calls to limit Americans' access to Pornhub
Amid the tit-for-tat between the American and Canadian government and the exchanges of tariffs and taxes on exports, a Canadian comedian made an unexpected suggestion to combat the tariffs imposed by Donald Trump.
Canadian comedian Matthew Puzhitsky posted a video on his social media account urging the Canadian government to ban Americans from accessing the Canadian-owned internet pornography video-sharing website, Pornhub.
He pictured himself in the Canadian parliament and said: "Okay everybody, the Americans are hitting us with tariffs, we gotta fight back, what do you got?". Then he poses himself as another person and says: "We can shut down every single Tim Hortons they have in the US."
"Nobody likes Tim's anymore, what else. Okay, what about Lululemon, that's Canadian? Ok, we're taking keep going." In the video, then Puzhitsky suggested blocking Pornhub access in the US.
