ALBAWABA - A British tourist recently made headlines after being investigated over finding a four-day decaying corpse of a Thai prostitute in his hotel room, claiming that he didn't notice it despite staying there, as reported by The Daily Mail.
71-year-old tourist Bearach Beataidh was reportedly spotted kissing and holding hands with 45-year-old Thai prostitute Duangta Khampongsom before taking her to his room in 'Sin City' in Pattaya, Thailand on December 18. Reports indicate that the prostitute was never seen again after the incident.

CCTV footage captured Beataidh leaving his room while being nervous, four days after the incident occurred on December 22. The building caretaker called the police after smelling a bad odorous smell emitting from Beataidh's room.
The caretaker found Khampongsom's half-naked body rotting on the room's bed after forcing the door open. Police later arrived at the scene and found the British tourist who also held an Irish passport at a bar nearby where he was detained.
During the investigation, Beataidh said, "She kept vomiting and sleeping the whole time, but I did not think it was anything abnormal. I understood that she felt weak and exhausted. We last spoke on December 19."
He further denied harming or killing the victim who was described by her coworkers as an alcoholic with drinking problems. By the time of writing this article, doctors have yet to clarify the reason behind the Thai prostitute's death.
