ALBAWABA - Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, is rebuked and criticized after she used a slur against a group of feminists.

The New York Post reported that Brigitte, the First Lady of France, is facing widespread backlash across the French community, after she was captured on video using a slur word against Nous Toutes activists.

Brigitte Macron uses a slur against a feminist group:

The clip went viral on social media, featuring Brigitte having a chat, which should be private, on Sunday with French comedian Ary Abittan, and as they were talking about a group of protesters, who had disrupted the comedian’s show the day before, she described them as "Sales connes", which can be translated to "stupid bitc*** or dirty bitc***".

The video caused outrage and anger among the feminist movements across the country, and the slur word was turned into a viral hashtag on the X platform by activists.

The First Lady of France used the term while jokingly vowing to protect the comedian in the face of the protests.

"If there are any dirty bitc*** we’re going to kick them out," Brigitte Macron sparked controversy in France by attacking feminist activists who disrupted the show of French comedian Ary Abittan after he was cleared of all charges in a rape case.
