ALBAWABA - US President Donald Trump is facing a huge wave of mockery after a picture of him sleeping during a military parade celebrating his 79th birthday and the 250th anniversary of the founding of the US Army, went viral online.
A photo circulating on social media showed the US president sitting next to his wife, Melania Trump, with his eyes closed, appearing to be asleep, while the military procession continued with the ceremony.
The photo sparked outrage and mockery at the same time online as a person questioned the situation: "Was Trump seen sleeping at a military parade for his birthday? All these resources, tax dollars, and logistics required to put on this parade, and he's still not satisfied?"
Meanwhile, others reminded people on social media how Trump and MAGA supporters used to mock former US President Joe Biden when he fell asleep during important ceremonies, as he was nicknamed "Sleepy Joe".
Another wrote on X: "Trump seen falling asleep at his own birthday military parade. All the resources, tax money and logistics to put on this ridiculous display, and he still isn't happy?"
However, Trump wasn't the only one who seemed so bored that he didn't pay attention to the event. US First Lady Melania Trump also appeared to fall asleep mid-show, with a photo of her with her eyes closed.
Furthermore, Vice President J.D. Vance was also blasted for bringing his "out of control" children to the parade.
