ALBAWABA - Algerian professional boxer Imane Khelif, who won a gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics, made an exceptional appearance for the first time since the end of the Olympic Games.
A video in which Imane Khelif gets a new look from a boxer to a beauty queen has taken over the internet with many praising the Algerian champion. The clip starts where Imane wearing boxing gloves and then she gets some makeup and hair treatment to become even prettier.
"You look very pretty in all cases," many comments read on Instagram as many supported the boxer, who experienced a wave of attack after her victory over Italian boxer Angela Carini 46 seconds after the start of the game.
Other people commented: "Imanez, you don't need to prove anything to anyone, the whole world loves you the way you are," "The sweetest girl ever mashallah," and "The gorgeous queen".
Imane was allegedly accused of being "a man and a transgender" by many people not only online but also by leaders including former US President Donald Trump and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Imane Khelif's lawsuit
On Wednesday, Imane Khelif's attorney Nabil Boudi, revealed that the Algerian champion filed a criminal complaint over alleged "acts of cyber-harassment" to the public prosecutor's office in Paris, France on Friday.
He further noted that the cyberbullying case includes J.K. Rowling and Elon Musk.
Variety added that the legal lawsuit was filed against X, which under French law means it was filed against unknown persons.
On Wednesday, Imane was also honored by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. She posted photos on Instagram and wrote: "Today I was honored by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with the Order of National Merit, Colonel."
