ALBAWABA - Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef went viral on Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) when the individual's account was removed from the platform after criticizing Israelis using "Antisemitism" as a fear tactic to shut down conversations and scare people into talking their minds.

Bassem Youssef has been a great advocate for the Palestinian people by sharing his pro-Palestine views in different podcasts on platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and more. Moreover, his debate with Piers Morgan where they discussed the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, went viral and garnered millions of views on YouTube.

The Egyptian comedian and television host also appeared on big YouTube channels such as Theo Vonn to spread more information about the Israeli occupation of Palestine that's been going on for 76 years.

His account which garnered more than 11 million followers is now blank with the message, "Something went wrong, try again" written on it.

According to an X user, this was his last message on the platform:

"Antisemitism was an accusation that used to freeze the blood in people's veins. I see many people now realizing how this fear tactic is used to shut down conversations and scare people."

He added, "It's been overused and abused in order to intimidate people. Are you still scared to be called an antisemite by those Zionists? Vote and tell me in the comments. No, I don't give a sh*t anymore. Or: yes lam is still scared."

Users claimed that the post in question was the reason Bassem Youssef was allegedly removed on X and yet again judged Musk for promising "freedom of speech" on the platform but censoring pro-Palestine accounts but not pro-Israel ones.

Here's what they had to say about the issue at hand:

"Thought this was a free speech platform."

"No Tesla for me for life, thinking about leaving X as well!"

"Free Speech is getting buried under the New World Order. Ironically it is not the Chinese or Russians, but the Great UNITE STATES OF AMERICA where it faces its biggest challenge."

"Not surprised. Anyway, this platform still continues to be biased, and Elon of course hypocritical. Grok v.2 won’t make a simple request." This comes after Grok 2.0 allowed terms like "Muslim and Christian tears" on a mug, but didn't generate anything when it came to terms like "Zionist tears."
