Many users on different social media platforms posted the news claiming the death of Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, with captions including "Rest in peace".
The name of Elon Musk, who is an American businessman and billionaire, has also been trending online.
An X account posted a picture of Elon Musk and wrote: "Trending: Elon Musk, founder of Twitter, has died at the age of 52."

However, after the huge buzz on social media allegedly claiming that Musk passed away at a young age, many came out to say that this is nothing but April Fool, as today April, 1st marks April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day, which is an annual custom on 1 April consisting of practical jokes and hoaxes.
What abolished all the allegations spread online was that Elon Musk himself has been posting new things on his X account, where he is followed by 179.5 million people.
