ALBAWABA - Americans across the country are calling for the boycott of dessert chain Dunkin Donuts after news circulated that its CEO Chris Pavlovski was a big part of the X and Rumble boycott.
The #BoycottDunkinDonuts swarmed X (formerly known as Twitter) making it the #1 trending in 'food' on the platform. This comes due to both platforms' content having a "right-wing culture," according to Newsweek.
Moreover, Disney also boycotted X due to Musk agreeing with an anti-Semitic post which according to CEO Bob Iger wasn't positive for the company.
Rumble recently joined Musk's X in suing a group of advertisers over allegations that both platforms withheld content from digital advertisers due to "right-wing content."
Among the companies being sued are Unilever, Mars, CVS Health, and Orsted.
Americans call for Dunkin Donuts boycott
Users on X took to several comment sections discussing the incident in question, here's what they had to say:
"Oh, how the turned have tables. We're WINNING."
"We have the power now. They can’t stop it. Censoring it will only make it bigger. It always does."
"Who even eats donuts anyway? That stuff is terrible for you. Might be the easiest company to put out of business... Let’s go."
"I liked Dunkin, but wokeness has ruined it. No more."
On the other hand, some users took to Dunkin Donut's defense:
"No one cares, this doesn’t affect Dunkin Donuts' right to boycott platforms they deem not appropriate or aligned with their brand. There’s no victory here. Plus Rumble & X sucks. Yet blue check marks pay for a mediocre platform that offers nothing in return."
"Dunkin will be just fine but rock on."
