ALBAWABA - Without any explanation, Amazon has removed the documentary "The Plot Against the President" from its streaming service Amazon Prime Breitbart News reported.
Users are no longer able to digitally rent or purchase "The Plot Against the President" from the platform.
Based on the bestseller book by Lee Smith, the documentary gives an in-depth overview of the Russiagate alleged scandal and how Democrats and the mainstream media allegedly worked together to "obstruct the peaceful transfer of power" following the 2016 election.
Amanda Milius, the documentary director, said in a statement: "In my opinion, Amazon was embarrassed that this film they had no idea about, and probably ideologically disagree with, ever did so incredibly well on the platform, even if it made them a lot of money,".
The Plot Against the President has received around 17,000 user reviews since it became available for streaming on Amazon in late 2020. It's unclear when Amazon removed the documentary, but it appears to have happened within the last two months.
Milius took to Instagram to break the news and urge her followers to watch the documentary. "Big Tech strikes again. Article in bio. Make sure to (re)Watch this important documentary about our failing country if you wanna really get political at the table!".
