ALBAWABA - A group of young men attacked an Algerian man with knives, on Sunday, in the Naaja Saghira area of the Boussouf neighborhood in Constantine.
After a dispute that broke out over a case reportedly related to a girl, seven attackers people, lay in wait for the victim, and stabbed him with knives of various sizes, in different parts of the body.
The preparators also filmed a video while they were attacking him, as a means of torture, they thought and posted it on social media.
The young Algerian man was taken to the intensive care unit of Ibn Badis University Hospital, where his wounds were stitched with more than 200 stitches.
He remained in the intensive care unit, while the perpetrators fled to an unknown destination.
The crime has shaken the Algerian community as people were shocked to see the video online and called on authorities in the country to take firm punishment against the attackers.
An activist wrote on the X platform: "An unfortunate incident shakes Constantine 😔 .. A person was stabbed by unknown persons and the incident was filmed and published on social media! We call on the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures and hold the perpetrators accountable."
