A clip was shared online showing Ahmed al-Sharaa in formal clothes while showing off his skills at a basketball game.
The Syrian president was seen playing basketball along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad al-Shaibani.
The video posted on social media gained much attention and achieved millions of views in a very short time. However, some believed that the footage could not be true.
A person questioned the video on X (formerly Twitter): "Is this an AI or true?" However, another said that Asaad al-Shaibani posted the footage on his Instagram account.
A social media user commented: "He has great skills in basketball," while another mentioned he is now interested to learn after he saw the Syrian president playing it.
