ALBAWABA - Egyptian security services at the Giza Security Directorate arrested a driver for the "Didi" company on charges of harassing an Egyptian girl.

According to local Egyptian media, a man was taken by police after a report of harassing a girl he was supposed to drive. When was arrested, the Egyptian driver denied harassment accusations saying: "My pants fell by itself."

He maintained that his pants fell alone when he was on the way. "She's like my daughter," the man maintained, Cairo 24 reported.

This incident comes a week after the announcement of Habiba Shamaa's death after she jumped outside an Uber car due to fears of getting kidnapped.

Habiba Shamaa died after three weeks in a coma, Cairo 24 reported on March 14. The lawyer of the Uber driver Amro Abdel Menim said that after the death of the commonly known online as "the Shorouk girl," the case will be referred to the competent court.
