They like to conduct their relationship in private, but Hollywood megastar George Clooney and his stunning bride-to-be Amal Alamuddin showed the world just how in love they are on Sunday by making their red carpet debut.
The pair headed to Celebrity Fight Night in Italy together, marking their first public event as a couple, which was held at the Palazzo Vecchio, where they cosied up to one another quite happily for pictures.
While George, 53, cut a handsome figure in black tie, his lovely lady chose a plain strapless floor-length dress in duchesse satin, which showed off her incredible figure.
Accessorising with an oversized pair of gold earrings and wearing her hair to one side, the 36-year-old lawyer looked perfectly in place on the red carpet.
Her man kept her close to his side at all time and put one arm on hers in a protective fashion.
Taking to the stage to accept an award later on in the evening, George revealed Italy holds a special place in his heart and he will be walking down the aisle to wed his ladylove very soon
'I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places,' George said.
Celebrity Fight Night is a charitable event and according to its website, the star-studded evening is presented in honour of boxing legend, Muhammad Ali.
Celebrities and professional athletes from all over the country participate in a night filled with incredible live auction items and live musical performances by many of today's brightest stars.
Throughout Celebrity Fight Night's 20-year history nearly $95 million has been raised with the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute as a significant beneficiary.
It's little wonder that George and Amal are deciding to become so public as they are thought to be getting married this month.
In fact, Amal has been seen at the headquarters of Alexander McQueen, the fashion label that created Kate Middleton’s wedding dress.
The stunner spent an hour and a half at the firm’s offices in Clerkenwell, East London, with her mother, the respected journalist Baria Alamuddin.
Last month, Amal visited Kensington and Chelsea register office to obtain the wedding licence.
And on Sunday evening it was easy to see just how in love the pair are, with Amal snuggling into George's shoulder as Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli took to the stage to perform.
Other stars in attendance at the event included singer Lionel Richie and Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster.
