ALBAWABA - Volodymyr Zelensky says he's certain he can work with former President Donald Trump if he wins the U.S. presidential election.

Zelensky discussed the U.S. presidential election and Ukraine's promised F-16 planes and air defense systems at a recent news conference.

Zelensky said, "We'll collaborate with Trump if he wins. This consequence does not scare me."

He noted that many Republicans support Ukraine and its people. "We enjoy bipartisan support in the U.S., and we have strong relationships with the Republican faction," he said.

Zelensky said that the first Ukraine Peace Summit advisor meeting would be held in Qatar in early August to discuss energy security. He said this summit will create a comprehensive energy security strategy.

He also mentioned an August conference in Turkey to discuss free navigation and food security and a September meeting in Canada to discuss prisoner swaps and Ukrainian child return to establish specific strategies.

Zelensky added, "Following these three key meetings, we will have a fully prepared implementation plan by November," ready for the Second Peace Summit and include Russian delegates.

Ukraine has 23 bilateral security agreements with its allies, including financial help, weaponry, humanitarian aid, rebuilding, cybersecurity, and air defense, Zelensky said. He considers these accords a success at $38 billion.

In response to the Western vow to send F-16 planes to Ukraine by the end of the year, Zelensky said greater help is required to defeat the Russian air force.

He proposed reducing the F-16 training term for Ukrainian pilots, expanding the training facility, and increasing the number of planes in the near future, not over 4-5 years.

Our military thinks that we need 25 "Patriot" air defense systems to completely safeguard Ukraine's airspace, Zelensky said.

Zelensky said they are getting favorable indications about long-range weapons and their deployment in Russia.

Zelensky said employing Western weaponry on Russian land is fair, "Every missile and bomb has a source. Our inability to reply is unfair since we comprehend their perspective. This answer is reasonable and due."
