Zayed University is constantly making efforts to facilitate academic requirements needed for the success of the educational process and its development. This includes the adoption of modern educational aids that help the students in their studies, as opposed to depending on traditional instructional methods, according to the University's Vice-President.
Speaking on Monday at the Abu Dhabi campus, Dr. Hanif Qassimi, said that in its fourth year, the University had become an extraordinary institute for higher education in the UAE, under the guidance of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
According to Khaleej Times, Dr. Qassimi added that nearly 116 students from the capital’s campus took their exams yesterday. He stated that the year 2002 was important for the university, due to its first group of nearly 400 graduates from its two campuses expected to pass in June.
Zayed University students began their mid-year semester exams Monday in all six colleges of both Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses. They are due to end on January 14, and grades will be posted on the University's website only two days after.
Dr. Qassimi emphasized the University’s commitment to technology in all realms, and claimed that the virtual library started last year had proved to be a popular initiative. Students can download research material, information and books for their studies. (Albawaba.com)
