Zaatar W Zeit, a premium chain of restaurants that serves authentic Lebanese cuisine “with a twist,” is pulling out all stops to celebrate its second year in the UAE.

The Zaatar W Zeit outlet on Shaikh Zayed Road, the first of four to open in Dubai, was launched in the summer of 2005. To celebrate the milestone, and to reward customers for their loyalty, the restaurant is giving away two iPod nanos daily from July 24 to 27.

Zaatar W Zeit has established itself as a favourite among Dubai diners not only for its food and service but also for its hip and lively atmosphere, which is reflected in the colourful décor employed in all the chain’s restaurants.

The concept of “Manousheh with a twist” (in Arabic “aa tari’tak”) is meant to introduce an element of youth culture to traditional regional cuisine. The idea has proved to be a massive success, making Zaatar W Zeit one of the most popular Arabic restaurants and Manousheh specialists in the region.

The success of Zaatar W Zeit’s Sheikh Zayed Road outlet has led it to expand to incorporate an outdoor terrace and inspired the opening of further outlets in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Festival City and Mirdiff. Zaatar W Zeit also has five outlets in Beirut and two in Kuwait.

The chance to win an iPod nano will be offered to customers in all outlets, and will be distributed on a raffle draw basis.
