Tunisian athletes won three medals during the 7th edition of the African Athletic Championship for Juniors, which began on Thursday at Rades Stadium. Mohamed Yacine Chaibe gained gold medal for Tunisia in the long jump 7,49 meters ahead of Senegalese Bertrand Wassy (7,04 meters) while Tunisian Houceme Maalaoui won the bronze medal with 6,95 meters. The winner of the third medal for Tunisia was Ghada Ghezal, who ranked third in discus throwing.
