ALBAWABA- Yemeni sources report ongoing and intense confrontations between Yemeni warships and a U.S. warship in the Red Sea.
The situation escalated after the Houthis reportedly attacked the American warship, leading to explosions and heightened tensions.
This escalation comes following the recent bloody confrontations between Houthi navy forces and the U.S. navy, which resulted in ten Houthi fighters killed and three Yemeni navy boats sunk.
In a recent update, a source within the Ansar Allah group, commonly known as the Houthis, has refuted claims of any clashes with an American warship in the Red Sea, according to a statement given to Al Jazeera.
It has been reported that an American warship was hit in Bab al-Mandab and intense clashes between Houthi gunboats and the U.S. warship in the Red Sea were going on.
The situation remains dynamic, with reports indicating the presence of the Iran Destroyer Alborz and other warships in the Red Sea.
