Yemeni Prime Minister Abdul Kader Bajammal Thursday presented his government's resignation to President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who ordered the formation of a new cabinet following parliamentary polls, the official SABA news agency said.
Saleh ordered the new parliament to meet May 10, according to a presidential statement carried by the agency. Bajammal "presented his resignation to President Saleh, who accepted it," SABA said Thursday. "The president asked the government to continue its duties until a new government is formed."
