According to Reuters, the Yemeni conflict peace talks that were pushed back due to ceasefire violations may still happen.

Delegations from both the Houthi rebels and supporters of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh announced their plans to travel to Kuwait on Wednesday. The two groups' delegates had been posted and waiting in Yemen's capital city, Sanaa.

"We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon, God willing," Mahdi al-Mushat, a Houthi delegate, wrote on his Facebook page.

"We confirm that we will leave for Kuwait, carrying all the worries, wounds, aspirations and hopes of the great Yemeni people," Yahya Duwaid, a representative for Saleh's supporters, wrote on his account.

As Reuters reports, both the Houthi movement and Saleh supporters had delayed peace talks after multiple violations of the ceasefire agreement by the Saudi-led coalition. Multiple airstrikes on civilians have struck since the ceasefire went into effect.

Representatives from embattled President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, traveling from the southern port city Aden, did not comment.
