AFP reports that shelling in the Yemeni conflict crossed over into Saudi Arabia, killing one Yemeni expatriate.

Saudi state media confirms that artillery fire struck Najran, a largely Shia province in southwest Saudi Arabia, late Saturday evening.

Over 70 people have been killed in fighting along the Yemeni-Saudi border since the Saudi-led coalition against the Houthi rebels in Yemen began in March.

Over 1,600 civilians have been killed in the ongoing conflict.
