Yemen President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Higher Commander of the Armed Forces visited Monday a naval base in Hudeidah, where he was received by Commander of the Naval Forces and Coastal Defense, the commander of the base and other naval officials, according to SABA news agency.
President Saleh was briefed with regards to training processes, and stressed Yemen's commitment to promote its defensive capabilities to ensure better security for the regional waters, islands and coasts, the agency added. (Albawaba.com)
