Yemen’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abu Baker Al-Qerbi left on Monday for Khartoum to attend the regular meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Conference Organization, that will start its work the same day.

In a statement to SABA news agency, Al-Qerbi said that the meeting would discuss the organization’s political role in facing terrorism and false charges against Muslims. He said they would also discuss political and economic issues of concern to Islamic countries.

In addition, he said that San’aa would protect the Islamic nations unity and defend its rights. Yemen would also find the decisive attitudes towards the Palestinian cause, especially following Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s refusal of the peace initiative, which was presented by the Arab and the West, the news agency added.
