Yemen’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abu-Bakr al-Qerbi is set to pay an official visit to China on December 24, SABA news agency cited official sources as saying.
Top businessmen are to accompany the foreign minister during the five-day visit, the sources added.
In the course of the visit, strengthening aspects of mutual economic and trade relations between both countries and joint investments are expected to be discussed.
SABA added that the Chinese government dropped $74 million of debts due by Sana’a, and added that further exemptions are expected to be announced. (Albawaba.com)
