A spokesperson for the government of Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi said Wednesday that the country will request membership in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
"We will present a plan in Saudi Arabia next month that will prepare Yemen to be included in the GCC," Rajeh Badi told news agency Reuters by telephone from Qatar.
