At least 35 people were killed in Yemen as Shia rebels clashed with Sunni tribesmen allied with the government Sunday, according to AP.
Some 40 others were also injured in Yemen’s largest tribal confederation, the Hashid, according to a security official.
Yemen has seen a wave of violence since a ceasefire between government forces and Shia Houthi rebels expired on June 23.
The country’s air force bombed Houthi positions on Saturday, killing at least 70 people, intensifying the sectarian battle between the Muslim sects.
