The UN envoy to Yemen on Thursday said a ceasefire agreement had been reached between the exiled government and the Houthi rebels, and that an announcement is expected within 24 hours, Reuters reported, citing Houthi-run Saba news agency.
UN envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed has held talks between the two factions in an attempt to end more than three months of fighting and Saudi-led airstrikes that have killed more than 3,000 people, Reuters reported.
