The speaker of the Yemeni Shura Council, Abdel Aziz Abdel Menem, is in the UAE to convey a message from the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, on the bilateral relations between the two countries, the Emirati official news agency (WAM) reported.
According to the agency, the Yemeni guest hailed the vital role which the Emirates has played in supporting the development projects in his country including Maareb dam.
“I shall discuss during my visit the mechanisms of cooperation between Abu Dhabi National Consultative Council and our Shura council,” said Abdel Menem, adding that he would oversee the Emirate’s experience in this regard and explain his country’s experience as well -- Albawaba.com
