Yemen’s President to Visit Saudi Arabia

Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh will visit Saudi Arabia late this month, said Yemen’s Ambassador to Riyadh Mohammed Al Kabab on Saturday.  

The ambassador told the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA) that Saleh’s visit “comes within the framework of exchanging visits between the two countries to develop and enhance bilateral relations.”  

During his visit, the Yemeni president will meet King Fahd and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdelaziz, as well as other top Saudi officials, said the ambassador. 

Talks will focus on enhancing bilateral ties as well regional developments, especially the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, said the ambassador. 

Yemen and Saudi Arabia signed a border agreement last June, followed by a number of agreements that bolstered cooperation between the two countries in different fields – Albawbaa.com
