Xerox has appointed Ayman Mattar as the Regional Marketing Manager for the Middle East. Ayman Mattar will be based at Xerox’s regional HQ in Dubai Internet City, Dubai.
Mattar a Xerox veteran, held the post of Marketing Director, Xerox Emirates, for the last 8 years (Xerox Emirates is the Joint Venture Partner for Xerox in the UAE). In his previous post, Mattar made a tremendous contribution to the growth of Xerox Emirates which in turn, helped to strengthen the Xerox brand in the UAE.
Prior to joining Xerox in 1988, Mattar held a number of Sales, Operations and Management roles in Xerox Egypt. In addition Mattar was a Marketing Consultant for Xerox Limited, UK for 3 years before moving to Dubai.
Mattar will be responsible for further strengthening the Xerox brand and building on current business relations with partners & customers across the region.
Since 1985, Xerox has developed an extensive partner and distributor operation in the region, with two new major recent appointments, Hoshan and eSys Technologies. Xerox’s current customer base of over 12,000 in the region is set to grow over the coming months with Xerox’s expansion strategy in the region.
