The Dubai Quality Group Professional Women's subgroup jointly with Dubai Women's College (DWC) has initiated an orientation program named 'Student Role Model Program' aimed at encouraging students to join the mainstream private workforce in the UAE.
Khulood Al Rostamani, chairperson of the DQG Professional Women's subgroup, stated that the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), was approached to pilot the program with the intent of expanding it to include other government institutions at a later stage, according to Khaleej Times.
For his part, Dr. Howard Reed, Director of DWC, has welcomed the program, which aims at molding students' viewpoints with regards to the workforce and preparing them for the work environment. (Albawaba.com)
